STARSHINE cheerleaders

Cheerleading is a high energy dance sport which incorporates jazz dance, hip-hop, flying, cheers, tumbling and stunts. It is great fun and requires lots of energy, enthusiasm and team work.

The STARSHINE dancers compete in cheer dance, pom, stunts, tumbling, hip-hop and jazz at national and international levels.

HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS

Sessions for all abilities age 11+ in cheer dance, hip-hop and stunts... Check out the times as part of the Dance Maniacs programme.

Cheer training

No previous dance experience is necessary, although any gymnastic, acrobatic or dance experience is beneficial. STARSHINE welcomes energetic new members of all abilities! Classes are held weekly at Reddingmuirhead Community Hall.

Age group

Time (Saturdays)

 6-9 years 3.45-4.15pm
 9-11 years 4.15-5.00pm
 12+ years 5.00-6.00pm

 

STARSHINE are available for demonstrations at gala days, charity events and fun days.

STARSHINE is run as an independent group with support from Central Scotland Ballet School - members of the team do not have to be / become members of the Ballet School. STARSHINE welcomes young dancers from any dance or non-dance background.
