Kristina Lowe (Jazz)

We welcome Kristina back as a new jazz teacher.

Kristina originally trained with Central Scotland Ballet School and acheived outstanding results in all her exams in ballet, jazz, tap and acrobatics. She has now graduated from full-time dance training with Dance for All college in Edinburgh and gained both her ISTD teaching qualification and performance qualifications.

During her time with CSBS, Kristina was team captain for Starshine Senior Squad, and was selected to represent Scotland in the World Cheer and Dance Championships in Florida 2010 where she joined the elite team of 15 selected from across Scotland. She danced onboard 3 cruise ships and as part of a hip-hop crew in PortAventura, Spain and appeared as a dancer and principal in theatrical and dance productions across Scotland. She won our Millennium Trophy twice as well as many awards.

Since graduation, Kristina has worked as a supply dance teacher with various dance schools and has worked as a performer in Disneyland Paris. She now teaches jazz and hip-hop with CSBS and coaches our Starshine Senior Elite dance team as well as running her own Dance XT workshops.

We are sure her boundless energy and enthusiasm will continue to inspire our young dancers.
