Samantha Clark B.Ed. (Hons)
A director of Central Scotland Ballet School, 'Sammy' is principal teacher for our Majors programme.
During her training with Central Scotland Ballet School, Sammy was awarded Distinction/Honours for all her higher dance exams. She performed as a principal dancer with Youth Ballet of Scotland, Ballet West, European Ballet and EuroDisney as well as in musical theatre productions across Scotland. She also trained with Ballet West and was offered full-time dance places at Ballet West, Classical Dance Centre and Urdang Academy.
Sammy is a qualified Primary teacher and teaches in a local Nursery School, as well as being a Director of Central Scotland Ballet School. She is the principal teacher for our Majors programme for talented dancers. She has choreographed shows for local children’s groups and amateur dramatics societies as well as a Disco piece and Rock'Roll medley for MSC Cruises.
Sammy maintains Central Scotland Ballet School's close links with Ballet West. From August 2010, she will be teaching 3rd year students at Denny Dance Academy.
She is currently studying for a BA (Hons) in Ballet Teaching with the Royal Academy of Dance through their distance learning programme.
