Lower Grades Ballet

Pre-Primary Grade Ballet
Pre-Primary is the first grade in the RAD syllabus for children in Primary 1-2 (age 4-6). A new revised Pre-Primary syllabus was introduced in August 2009 which has a great emphasis on musicality, expression, creativity and fun.
Students are entered for a Class Award when they are ready for the next grade. After completing a demonstration class with their class teacher in front of an examiner, each candidate receives a certificate, medal and a progress report. This introduces them to the examination system without any pressure.
Primary Grade Ballet
Primary is the first examinable grade in the RAD syllabus. The new revised Primary grade is suitable for children in P3-4 (age 6-8) and continues to develop children's musicality, imagination and expression through dance, mime, music, props and storytelling.
