We had over 150 young dancers enter for exams in the winter session and we are once again very proud of their hard work and excellent results.

ISTD Tap exams

This was our first session entering students for the newly revised syllabus, from Primary to Grade 3 and Grades 6 and Intermediate. Overall, the students gained 6 Pass, 23 Merit and 10 Distinctions. A special congratulations to the students who gained over 80% for their exam:

• Primary: Hollie Crooks 84%, Laura Cummings 81%, Sarah Firth 84%
• Grade 1: Anna Makin 85%
• Grade 2: Adela Mayers 84%, Becky Morely 87%
• Grade 3: Polly Greer 80%, Anna McEwan 82%, Mia Musakambeva 83%, Keira Paterson 84%

RAD Ballet Exams

Well done to the 22 little stars who gained their Pre-Primary Class Award, the first level of the graded exam system. Of the 84 students sitting graded exams from Primary to Grade 7, 2 gained Pass, 49 Merit and 34 Distinction.

A very special well done to the children who sat their Primary exam. Two gained their Class Award while 12 were awarded Merit and a silver medal, and 18 were awarded Distinction and a gold medal. An extra congratulations to the girls who gained over 80% for their first exam:

• Jessica Brown 80%, Hazel Brown 81%, Hollie Crooks 81%
• Emma Fish 82%, Sarah Firth 83%, Anya Phillips 93%

We are very proud of the Grade 6 students, who all gained Distinction. Outstanding results from some graded students gaining over 80% for their exam:

• Grade 2: Katy Russell 81%
• Grade 3: Lauren Newlands 80%
• Grade 6: Megan O'Neill 84%
