Fundraising bagpack...
Raising funds for display costumes and a 'dancing holiday', students and parents took part in a bag-pack at Asda Grangemouth.
The small (but cheerful!) group of volunteers spent the day loading shopping into bags and raised an impressive £1047!
Cruise holiday
Some of the money will go toward buying costume accessories for the dancers travelling to dance on MSC Poesia this summer. The group of 16 dancers have begun rehearsing for their dancing holiday where they will get the opportunity to dance onboard alongside the professional cast. Travelling with the students is Central Scotland Ballet School Director and Principal, Mrs Jacqueline Clark.
"This is an exceptional experience for our young dancers. I am both proud and excited about watching them on the professional stage in a stunning setting and hope that it inspires them to follow a career in dance."
We recently had a group dance in Port Aventura (Spain) and have also danced in EuroDisney and onboard MSC Opera.
