Jeans for Genes day
Our Friday jazz classes showed their support for "Jeans for Genes" day by wearing their jeans to class. They raised a commendable £122 which will be distributed by 'Jean for Genes' to charities which research genetic disorders and support those affected by genetic conditions.
We were also selected by the charity to have their professional photographer in one of the classes so that we can be featured in their promotion material.
The students at the Braes branch have supported the annual charity event for many years - it has become a highlight of their dancing calendar! They enjoyed fun jazz dance classes with games, lots of stickers, lots of photos and some extreme hula hooping! The Grade 4 ballet class and our work experience placement even dressed up in support... You can view the photographs on our Bebo page.
