More exam success...!

More exam success...!

In December we had 12 students sit Vocational Graded exams with the Royal Academy of Dance. We are very proud that all the girls passed, gaining 1 Pass, 7 Merits and 4 Distinctions.

The Vocational exams are very demanding and aim to prepare young dancers for full-time dance training. Our Majors students study the Vocational graded syllabus alongside the Graded ballet syllabus, as well as attending Associate schemes with Ballet West, Scottish Ballet, English National Contemporary and Royal Ballet.

Well done to...

Intermediate Foundation: Laura Forrester, Annie Gaffney, Megan O'Neill, Christina McCall (Distinction 83%)

Intermediate: Emma Buckie, Hannah Deans, Beth Donnelly, Anna Fulton, Jemma Sneddon, Paige Lipski (Distinction 84%), Natasha Watson (Distinction 93%)

Advanced 1: Carlie-Anne Chuchla (Distinction 76%)

Carlie-Anne is only our second ever student to enter the Advanced 1 exam. The syllabus is extremely challenging for a part-time student and we are delighted by her success.
