Ellie Stenton is studying toward a 3 year BA Hons degree course in Musical Theatre Dance at one of the UKs top dance colleges.

Ellie is an incredibly hard working student who studied ballet, jazz and acro, and was a member of both our Majors programme and Starshine Elite dance team. She most recently gained distinction for her Grade 8 Award from the Royal Academy of Dance before leaving for college. She was also awarded 'Star Performer' at our 2019 Project Dance Summer School, won 'Best Newcomer' at our 2019 Choreography Competition, and has also been awarded the overall progress trophy.

Other dance achievements

In addition to CSBS, Ellie studied dance at school in the Larbert High Dance School where she gained an A for both her Higher Dance and HNC in Dance. She won many awards and nominations for dance achievements in the Falkirk Schools cluster, including Dance Leader of the Year and the Bill Graham Memorial Award for Performing Arts. She also represented Team Scotland at the Dance World Cup as part of a team from Larbert High. Ellie attended the monthly Performers College Elite programme in London. She was awarded a Dancer of the Year nomination at CYD? and a scholarship opportunities, and is an ambassador for En Pointe Photography!

Ellie successfully auditioned to be a part of the Dane Bates Collective, training and performing alongside dancers from across the UK. She has won a number of trophies in competitions including Can You Dance Convention, the World Lyrical Dance Federation, and Showcase Events.

Performing with CSBS

As part of our Majors programme and Elite dance team, Ellie has performed and competed across the UK. She has performed in our annual dance displays at Macrobert Arts Centre; in classical ballet roles with the Russian State Ballet; in the Pasha Kovalev UK tour; and local community events.

We are sure her determination and enthusiasm will ensure she gets the most from her training and we look forward to following her successful career in dance!
