Pyjama Week fundraising fun!

In celebration of the end of Exam Week, we had a week of fun dance classes... In our pyjamas!

Over the past few months, dancers and teachers in all classes have been working extremely hard in preparation for the Winter exam session. We had 175 children sitting RAD ballet exams over Exam Week. You can read more about Exam Week here.

After Exam Week, every class had the chance to relax by attending their dance class in their pyjamas and bringing a donation for our Dance Fund. Teachers gave the students non-syllabus classes which included a wide range of dance games, choreography, and technique challenges. Fundraising total...

Although many people did not make a donation, many students gave a donation at every one of their lessons and helped to raise a staggering total of £993! Many thanks to everyone who supported the fun in some way! Our Dance Fund is used to fund and subsidise events throughout the year such as prize giving, choreography competition, rehearsals and workshops, so the money will benefit all the dancers over the coming year.
