Showstoppers - Queensferry display success

Two-hundred dancers took to the stage for our 2018 Queensferry branch dance display, "Showstoppers"

The dancers aged 7-18 showcased their skills in almost 40 different routines at the Macrobert Arts Centre in nearly 600 dazzling costumes. The audience really loved the show and the dancers received great cheers and applause... and even had the audience on their feet dancing along! Also performing in the show were our Majors ballet dancers who train at our Queensferry branch, they performed a tap dancing opening recreating the opening scene of '42nd Street', a pointe work routine, and a short ballet adaptation of "Annie".

We had an amazing team of CSBS staff, class helpers, and volunteer chaperones bakcstage helping the children get ready and get onstage quickly. Thank you to all of them!

We would be delighted to get your feedback on the the display and love to hear what you enjoyed or any suggestions for improving our shows. Please take a few minutes to complete our short survey.

Charity collections

Our charity bucket collections after each performance raised an impressive total of £428.60, and we will add the programme donations to the total when we receive them from the theatre. Many thanks for your generosity. We make donations to local and national good causes throughout the year.
