Spring ballet exam session

Spring ballet exam session

Our Spring ballet exam session is over!

We had 153 girls and 1 boy sit exams and Class Awards from Pre-Primary right up to Grade 8 and Advanced during our exam week.

New syllabus

This is the first exam session for us to enter students for the newly revised Grades 1-3 syllabus. Only eleven girls sat Grade 1, 14 sat Grade 2 and 19 entered for Grade 3. We also had 10 students from Denny Dance Academy at Denny High School enter for the new Grade 3 exam. We are both excited and nervous awaiting all the results for these new exams!

Vocational students

Fifteen of our Majors students travelled to Glasgow to sit their Royal Academy of Dance Vocational Graded exams at Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced levels. These exams are particularly challenging and the girls have worked extremely hard.

Little stars

Eleven little dancers from our Linlithgow branch sat their RAD Pre-Primary Class Award while eleven little students from the Braes branch sat a Class Test in both ballet and tap. We also had 19 little dancers enter for their first exam in the RAD syllabus, Primary in Dance. They were very excited!

You can view a full gallery of our exam candidates on our Facebook page and keep a look out for the results arriving in April!
