Spring exam session over...

Our exam session has now finished so we are leaping on to our dance display routines!

Over 6 days, 178 young dancers aged 5-17 sat exams in ballet, tap and acrobatics, from pre-primary and First Steps to Advanced levels, with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) and the British Association of Teachers of Dance (BATD). You can view a gallery of the exam candidates on our Facebook page. We were especially delighted that 34 young dancers from Denny High School's Dance Academy sat an exam - some of them had never danced before joining the Academy at High School!

Results..

We expect to receive the results for the ballet and tap exams at the end of the Easter break, but were delighted to be told that all the 22 acrobatics candidates passed their examinations with top marks Some students were Highly Commended for the highest level of acrobatics examination including:

  • British Medallion: Hayley Fleming, Kristina Lowe, Brooke Lipski, Paige Lipski
  • Premiere Award: Christina McCall
More hard work ahead...

Keep up to date with dance display information on our website, venue notice boards and Facebook page.
