Stage star
While most people were enjoying a restful Christmas break, Nichole Cook (13) was busy starring in "Sleeping Beauty".
She successfully auditioned for the role of 'Fairy Walsh' in the professional pantomime production at the MacRobert Arts Centre (Stirling) and spent months rehearsing as part of the professional all-singing-all-dancing cast.
Nichole is no stranger to the spotlight... She has starred in short film projects with RSAMD and in "Watching Amy" with MacRobert Arts Centre/Stirling University. She has danced in productions across Scotland with Central Scotland Ballet School, Ballet West and Suzanne Farrell Ballet Company, and onboard 2 different cruise ships! Nichole is a student on our Majors Programme and is both a Ballet West and Scottish Ballet Mid-Associate.
In February, she will be performing in Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" with Big Bad Wolf Children's theatre.
Local pantomime
Nichole joined 6 other CSBS dancers to perform in "The Adventures of Sinbad" with local amateur group, the Linlithgow Players. Dancers from CSBS have joined the company for their New Year production for around 10 years now and it is always great fun!
The other dancers were Adele Cook, Chloe Coyle, Hayley Fleming, Brooke Lipski, Dayna Lipski and Paige Lipski. Two younger students, Holly Morgan and Catherine Bain joined the company as junior chorus members.
