Stars shine in 'Forty-Second Street'

Stars shine in 'Forty-Second Street'

We are delighted to have a number of students spending their Easter break performing in the dazzling musical, "42nd Street"...

The show is being staged by Linlithgow Amateur Musical Productions (LAMP) Children's Theatre in Linlithgow Academy from 11-16 April and follows last year's sell-out production of "Billy Elliot".

Forty-Second Street features many well known dance numbers, including, "Lullaby of Broadway", "42nd Street" and "Shuffle of to Buffalo". The LAMP production will see the whole company tap dancing!

Good Luck to...

We send everyone in the production a "Break-a-leg" wish with an extra special good luck to our students playing principal roles:

  • Anna MacLeod (Peggy Sayer), Sandy Bain (Billy Lawler)
  • Hayley Fleming (Andi Lee), Christina McCall (Anytime Annie)
  • Anna McEwan (Lorraine Fleming), Anna Johnston (Phyllis Dale), Eva Dickson (Gladys)

We are very proud that some of our students were also selected as dancers:

  • Andrew Coleman (Dance Captain), Chloe Dickson, Amber Ibrahim, Rachael O'Neill

And another 'Good Luck' to the students who are part of the all-singing-all-dancing chorus:

  • Catherine Bain, Abbie Cantell, Rebecca McFarlane

You can book tickets online or...
