STARSHINE cheerleaders really shone at their first competition, winning an impressive haul of prizes...

The 'ACDC Allstar Battle of the Streets' competition, in Clydebank on Sunday 15 November, attracted teams from across the Central Belt and Glasgow. Our young dancers aged 10-15 won 5 firsts, a second, 3 thirds, a fourth, 2 fifths and a sixth place, bringing home a glittering collection of medals and trophies. They performed solos, duets and group routines in cheer and hip-hop as well as specialised routines for stunts and tumbling.
