WINTER EXAMS COMPLETE!

We had a great Winter Exam Week with around 150 candidates sitting IDTA and RAD exams at a wide range of levels.

IDTA EXAMS

For only our second IDTA in-person session we welcomed examiner Mrs Dennis to assess the 96 candidates in grades 2-4 tap; jazz and acro Star Dance Awards; and ballet, tap, and national (character) Rosette Awards. The candidates thoroughly enjoyed the experience and Mrs Dennis was very happy with the standard overall, also giving us very helpful feedback on the syllabus.

We expect to receive the results in the New Year.

RAD BALLET EXAMS

We had candidates enter for the challenging Royal Academy of Dance examinations with 53 dancers sitting Grades 1-6 levels as well as Vocational Grades at Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate, and Advanced Foundation levels, and Solo Performance Awards.

These SQA accredited examinations were filmed under exam conditions and will be submitted to the London Headquarters for examination by an RAD International examiner. We expect to receive the results in 6-8 weeks.
