Summer Boogie

The Summer Boogie is a fun-packed day of dance open to children of all abiltities aged 5-8 (P1-4). Participants do not need any dance experience and do not have to be members of Central Scotland Ballet School. 

When?

Tuesday 27 July (other dates t.b.c.)

Where?

Maddiston Community Centre, Parkhall Drive, Maddiston, FK2 0LU.  Minutes from M9 Junction 4 and Polmont railway station.

Timetable...

Doors open at 9.45am for registration.

 Pop Stars 1000-1100 A funky jazz dance class to the latest pop sounds
 Budding Ballerinas 1115-1215 A ballet class for all little swans and fairy elephants
 Creative Movers 1300-1400 A creative dance class with props, music and games
 Sticky Fingers 1415-1515 Get messy in our arts and crafts session
 
Cost (pay-on-the-day)

£3 per dance class / £3.50 craft class / Whole day  £12

You need...

Participants should wear comfortable sports or dance clothing, e.g. shorts and t-shirt, and trainers.  No jeans and no skirts. They can wear jazz shoes, ballet shoes and leotards if they have them.  They need a light snack for the breaks and a packed lunch if they are staying the whole day. Juice is provided.

 

NOTE: Classes are led by qualified dance teacher, Amanda Clark. Amanda is also a qualified First Aider and has much art and drama experience.
