Dance Stars Junior

Dance Stars Junior is a 3-day summer school open to children of all abiltities aged 7-11 (P4-7) / PriTricks andmary-Grade 2 ballet or equivalent.  

The Easter Edition is a great half day taster for the 3-day summer course with classes in ballet, jazz dance and musical theatre. The 3-day Summer School has daily themed classes in ballet and jazz with additional workshops in cheer, acro, theatre and crafts culminating in a performance for parents. The cost of the Summer School includes a souvenir t-shirt. Previous themes have included the Circus, Space, Wild West, and the Jungle.

Where?

Maddiston Community Centre, Parkhall Drive, Maddiston, FK2 0LU.  Minutes from M9 Junction 4 and Polmont railway station. 

EASTER Timetable...

Doors open at 9.40am for registration.

 Ballet 0940-1040 A non-syllabus ballet class 
 Jazz technique 1050-1150 Flex-jump-turn workshop
 Acro dance 1200-1300 Tricks and transitions in acro
     
Cost (pay-on-the-day)

Easter Edition: £5 per class or £12 full morning

3-day SUMMER Course: £75 (CSBS dancers) / £90 (non members) Both costs include the souvenir t-shirt which is worn for the performance.

You need...

Participants should wear suitable dance clothing. Bring a light snack and plenty of water.

NOTE: Participants do not have to be members of Central Scotland Ballet School but should have their teacher's permission to attend. Classes are led by qualified and experienced dance teachers. Photos and video may be taken during the workshops - speak to a member of staff if you do not wish to be included.
