Dancers entertain at RNLI South Queensferry

We were delighted to be invited to provide some of the entertainment at the annual RNLI Open Day in South Queensferry.

The event is held to raise awareness and funds for the RNLI Queensferry lifeboat, which is the busiest inshore station in Scotland! It is a great community event with a wide range of attractions, demonstrations and entertainment.

Performing in the street...

Fifty-one of our dancers came along to perform some of their dance display routines by Hawes Pier just under the world famous Forth Rail Bridge and with the 2 road bridges as a backdrop! They showed off ballet and jazz routines with a great response from the audience. With only a few dancers from each class coming along, the students rechoroegraphed their routines quickly to ensure they each knew ther space and had a partner when required... Excellent team work! The dancers in the final routine got a bit soggy as the rain began to pour down, but they kept smiling and got a huge cheer.

You can view a gallery of photos from the performance on our CSBS Facebook page.

Many thanks to Hamish Campbell for his tireless dedication to organising the annual event and for inviting the children to take part.
