Little stars twinkle onstage!

The little stars from our Braes branch were delightful in their 2016 dance display, "Going Global: Little Stars Edition".

Around 110 little dancers aged 3-6 stepped out on stage at the Macrobert Arts Centre to showcase their dance talents to an enthusiastic audience of around 400 family and friends. They performed ballet, jazz, tap and acrobatics routines! Also performing in the show were some of our Senior dancers who performed brilliant routines in jazz, ballet, tap and acrobatics with a highlight being a short ballet adaptation of "Aladdin".

As well as the group routines, Lucy Anderson (10) and Sarah Firth (13) performed an acrobatics duet. Both girls are members of both our acrobatics troupe and competitive Elite teams. Zoe Young (13) performed a jazz solo which she had choreographed herself; Zoe has won a number of national and regional trophies over the past year. Serena McCall (12) performed a classical ballet solo which she will also be performing in the Dance World Cup 2016 representing Scotland! This was her first chance to show off the routine to an audience. Finally, the show closed with a pointe solo by our 2016 Millennium Trophy winner, Christiana Salaün.

We would be delighted to get your feedback on the the display so please take a few minutes to complete our short survey.
