Outstanding exam results in Winter session!
Many congratulations to our 170 exam candidates this session on their excellent results and 100% pass rate!
One hundred and forty four candidates entered for ballet exams with the Royal Academy of Dance from Pre-Primary to Grade 7 level with a total of 67 Merit and 50 Distinctions as well as 2 students gaining their Grade 2 and 3 Class Award and 24 little stars gaining their Pre-Primary Class Award, the first level in the RAD ballet exam syllabus.
A special congratulations to Christiana Salaun who was our only Vocational candidate this session. She gained Distinction with 91% for her Intermediate Ballet examination!
Solo Performance Awards
The Solo Performance Awards are a new type of examinations offered by the RAD. Candidates must perform 3 solos in front of the examiner. We entered a small group of students who regularly attend more than one graded ballet class a week.Every one of them was awarded a Distinction! Many congratulations to:

The RAD exams are increasingly demanding and the standard required to even pass is incredibly high, which is why we are always so delighted with all our exam candidates! We have special congratulations to the students who were awarded over 80% for their Distinctions:

We also had another 24 students sit a graded tap exam with the ISTD from Grade 1 to Grade 6 levels. Overall, they gained 2 Pass, 15 Merit and 5 Distinctions.
