CSBS Elite Dance Team: Auditions

DATE: THURSDAY 22 AUGUST 2024, 7.30-8.45pm
VENUE: CSBS Dance Studio 1, Linlithgow Bridge, EH49 7SF
AGE GROUP: Junior (age 9-13) AND Senior (age 14-18)

An opportunity to audition for our 2024/25 competitive dance teams at both Junior and Senior levels. The audition is a dance workshop lead by coach Claire and will include jazz technique, lyrical dance, and commercial dance.

Successful candidates will be expected to attend weekly training lessons alongside at least one ballet and one jazz class to ensure good technique is maintained. They will be required for additional rehearsals during competition season. They will also be expected to perform in group routines at competitions with additional opportunities for solos and small groups.

Parents should note that this is a considerable time and financial commitment. Coaching sessions for solos and small groups are not included in CSBS class fees.

I understand that my dancer may not be successful in gaining a place on the team, and am prepared to support them with any disappointment if unsuccessful.

We will pay £7 on the day for the audition workshop
