Central Scotland Ballet School are finalists for Dance School of the Year in the inaugural Golden Dance Awards Scotland, 2026

The CSBS Elite team won top places in the WLDF Jazztastic competition on 15 March in Dalry.

We were delighted and excited to have 6 CSBS dancers nominated for the 2026 IDTA Theatre Awards in Birmingham for tap and contemporary modern jazz.

We were delighted that three of our dancers were selected by audition to compete in the finals of the 2026 Ballet Grand Prix in Dundee, and won prizes!

CSBS Elite team dancers had great success at the WLDF Lyricism competition in February with lots of prizes and strong performances.

Central Scotland Ballet School are finalists in multiple categories at the 2026 Scottish Dance Awards!

Over 80 dancers joined our 2025 Sparkle Parties… and we had lots of fun and dancing!

During the last week of the year we invited parents to watch classes, and presented around 200 awards for progress!

Our CSBS Elite dance team attended the WLDF Winterfest competition with great results

Huge thanks for “dance mum” Claire Sharples for organising and running a lovely Festive coffee morning., raising £315.

Over 50% of our Winter Exam graded candidates gained Distinction for their exams, with great results at all levels!

After our winter exam session, our teachers, dancers and their friends enjoyed a fun “Sparkle Week”!

CSBS had 96 candidates in the Winter Exam Session sitting exams with both the RAD and IDTA exam boards.

CSBS Elite dance team competed in “The Dream Dance Challenge” in Dumbarton with dancers receiving Special Awards and Highest Points awards!

Central Scotland Ballet School won “Best Dance School Business 2025” at Scotlands Business Awards.

Our Elite team attended their first competition of the season, WLDF Iconic in Ayr winning a host of trophies!

Our annual “Big Dance Bucket Sale” raised over £1500 for our Dance Fund!

Five of our CSBS Elite team dancers represented Scotland at the 2025 World Lyrical Dance Federation World Championships in Belfast bringing home a haul of top places and a staggering 11 World titles between them!

Thirty young dancers joined our 2025 Project Dance Summer School with 4 intensive days of dance workshops with guest tutors.

Ten keen dancers joined our circus themed Dance Stars Junior Summer School 2025… it was a great course!
