Preschool parent’s days

Our littlest stars were very excited to have their parents watch their classes this week. Parents were invited to watch their child’s regular dance lessons ahead of the regional holidays. Teachers Amanda, Frances, Hayley, and Paula helped the little dancers to demonstrate the exercises and skills they’ve been learning over the first 7 weeks of the dance year.

The preschool ballet classes each followed a different theme this block, with our Braes class taking a journey to “The Ballet Zoo”; the Linlithgow class heading “Under the Sea”; and the Queensferry classes travelled on a ballet adventure through “Space”! Each class used a wide range of music, props and storytelling to develop movement skills and dance basics.

The teeny jazz class showed off their dance moves including kicks, jumps, stretches, and counting.

Every dancer was presented with a certificate to congratulate them for their great effort and progress. We hope all the audience enjoyed watching! Our next preschool parent’s days will be in December as part of our end-of-year parent’s days and prizegivings.
