A real ballerina in our ballet class...!
We were delighted to welcome professional ballerina, and former CSBS student, Miss Victoria Paterson into our Classical Ballet class this week.
Having completed her full-time training at Central School of Ballet, 'Vicki' is now a ballerina with the Estonia National Opera.
The students in our open classical ballet class enjoyed the challenging class she gave them, and worked really hard to take onboard her corrections. It was lovely to watch her demonstrate the settings and perform multiple pirouettes without any effort!
During her training with Central Scotland Ballet School, Vicki gained top marks for all her RAD ballet exams, including Distinction for all her vocational grades up to Advanced 1, and a perfect 100% for Grade 4! She was also an associate with both Scottish Ballet and Ballet West and spent her school holidays dancing across the country at Urdang, Ballet West, Royal Ballet School and English National Ballet School. She also danced with European Ballet, Scottish Ballet and Ballet West, including dancing the role of 'Clara' in the Nutcracker.
We wish Vicki all the best with her career and hope she is an inspiration to our young dancers.
