Dance display 2014... Tinseltown

Only a couple of weeks until our students hit the stage in our 2014 dance display, "Tinseltown"...

From the little stars in preschool to the advanced students, our whole school has the opportunity to perform in our annual displays. This year around 800 young dancers will perform in ballet, jazz, tap, acrobatics and cheer dance routines in around 2000 costumes!

Each branch of our dance school produces a unique show with them each performing as follows:

• Braes branch: Macrobert Arts Centre, Saturday 7 June, 2pm and 7pm
• Grangemouth and Linlithgow branches: Macrobert Arts Centre, Sunday 8 June, 1pm and 6pm
• South Queensferry branch: Alhambra Theatre, Saturday 14 June, 11am, 2pm and 7pm

We are both excited and nervous about our first ever show in the Alhambra Theatre, Dunfermline and hope the students enjoy performing to a much larger audience and in such a beautiful theatre. For the first year ever, we have a junior show too. The 'Little Stars Edition' of 'Tinseltown' will be performed by over 110 preschool-P2 aged children from the South Queensferry branch at 11am in the Alhambra. They will be joined onstage by our Majors students and some junior soloists in a shortened dance display. We hope that lots of students will come along to see the little ones, and especially the Majors students, perform.
