Ballet exam results
We are once again delighted by the success of our ballet exam candidates with another 100% pass rate this session...
This was the first session we have entered any students for the newly revised RAD Grades 1-3 syllabus. The new syllabus is particularly challenging for young dancers, and the students who sat the exams worked extremely hard and attended regular extra classes. Their hard work (and their parent's too!) paid off as they achieved excellent results.
High marks and medals
In total we had 37 candidates receive Distinction, 55 Merit and 7 Pass with another 21 children gaining their Class Award at Pre-Primary and Primary levels. We are especially excited that the RAD have introduced medals for every examination level and each candidate will receive a gold, silver or bronze medal with their report and certificate.
We are proud of all our dancers and the effort they put in to passing their exam. Special mention must go to those students who gained over 80%:
- Primary Grade: April Beattie 84%, Eilidh Anderson 80%, Hannah Firth 83%, Isla Campbell 80%, Mabel Hepburn 80%, Megan Richards 82%

The challenging RAD Vocational Graded syllabus is designed for talented young dancers; it is particularly demanding. We are delighted that all of our candidates this session passed with Pass or Merit and each level, Intermendiate Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced Foundation. Well done!
