Outstanding service to dance
Mrs Jacqueline Clark, Director and Principal of Central Scotland Ballet, was presented with a bouquet at the Royal Academy of Dance Summer School.
She has been a helper on the course for 20 years and her dedication and hard work was recognised during the presentations at the end of this year's summer school.
Mrs Clark was presented the bouquet by RAD Regional chairperson, Nikki Forbes. Miss Heather Shrimpton, Principal of Alloa Ballet Company, was also recognised for her long-service.
With thanks...
Jennifer MacFarlane, Administrator for the Royal Academy of Dance in Scotland, thanked both teachers for their tireless support and invaluable help over the past 20 years. Luke Rittner, Chief Executive of the Royal Academy of Dance, wrote a letter of thanks.
"I thought I could not let this milestone pass without writing to you personally to express on behalf of the Academy my profound gratitude to you for this extraordinary service. It is people like you whose love of dance and devotion to the Academy make the Academy what it is. I really cannot thank you enough." Luke Rittner
