Braes branch Jet Set performances!

Both the Junior and Senior dancers from our Braes branch staged sparkling performances in our 2025 dance display, “Jet Set”, at the Macrobert Arts Centre (Stirling).

BRAES JUNIOR SHOW

We had over 80 little dancers aged 3-8 years old perform alongside our 50 Majors students in a matinée show. They showcased their skills in ballet, tap, jazz and acro routines for an enthusiastic audience of around 400 family and friends. Our Majors dancers and Junior Elite team showcased jazz, tap, and ballet routines.

The audience also enjoyed a lyrical solo performed by Jill (16), a gold medalist and the Millennium Trophy winner from our 2025 Choreography Competition.

Teacher Amanda took photos during the dress rehearsal, and you can view the Braes Junior album on our CSBS Facebook page. (with more photos to follow!)

BRAES SENIOR SHOW

Another 130 dancers aged 9-17, including our Majors students and Senior Elite team, performed ballet, jazz, tap, and acro routines in another excellent show for a great audience of around 400 family and friends. Our Millennium Trophy winner Jill also performed one of her own choreography routines.

Huge thanks to the team of volunteer chaperones who kept both shows running smoothly backstage.

We were delighted to share the news that some of the dancers had been nominated by the IDTA examiners for the national IDTA awards in jazz and tap! They were presented with a balloon onstage by IDTA Scotland Chairman, Stephen Gaughan, who had been a guest in the audience.

You can view teacher Amanda’s photos from the Braes Main dress rehearsal on our CSBS Facebook page.
