Competition season successfully underway!

Nine of our CSBS Starshine Elite team dancers started the new year of dance competitions with outstanding success this weekend! They attended the World Lyrical Dance Federation (WLDF) ICONIC competition in Dalry competing against dancers from across Scotland. This was the first time trying out new lyrical and jazz solo routines which they had only begun choreographing over the first 2 weeks of term… and all the dancers who performed did incredibly well with strong performances and placings.

LYRICAL RESULTS:

• 1st - Charlie Fleming - Under 12 Level 1

• 1st - Georgia Rosenfeld - Under 14 Level 1

• 3rd - Rachel Higgins - Under 14 Level 1

• 1st - Emmy Phillips - Under 16 Level 1

• 3rd - Chloe Murray - Under 16 Level 1

• 1st - Megan Richards - Under 18 Level 1

• 1st - Hannah Firth - Under 18 Level 2

• 1st - Iana Phillips - Under 18 Advanced

Iana was also awarded the ICONIC trophy for the highest score across the advanced sections!

JAZZ RESULTS:

• 1st - Charlie Fleming - Under 12 Level 1

• 1st - Emmy Phillips - Under 16 Level 1

• 5th - Chloe Murray - Under 16 Level 1

• 2nd - Hannah Firth - Under 18 Level 1

• 1st - Iana Phillips - Under 18 Level 1
