End of Year progress awards

As always, it has been wonderful to welcome parents into our Studios to view their child’s dance classes. Over the last week of our year, parents joined us for 112 classes with lots of smiles and applause! Many thanks to the many people who took the time to speak to the teacher or send us a message of thanks and encouragement.

PROGRESS AWARDS

We presented awards for progress in each class. These awards are presented to the dancers that the teachers feel have made the most progress in their classwork over the past full year. Across all the classes we presented 93 progress certificates and 101 progress trophies.

You can view a full list of the award winners here.

Another 82 certificates were presented to our preschool ballet and jazz dancers for their great progress and effort over the past term.

OVERALL BRANCH PROGRESS AWARDS

A trophy is also presented to the student who our team feel has made the most progress over the year for the full branch. The nominees are discussed by all the team and it’s been wonderful to hear how hard the dancers have been working!

Many congratulations to:

  • LINLITHGOW BRANCH: Charlie Fleming (age 14, recently passed Grade 5 ballet, also studies tap, jazz, acro, musical theatre, commercial, plus Elite and Majors)

  • QUEENSFERRY BRANCH: Amy Taylor (age 13, recently passed Grade 3, also studies jazz, tap, commercial, Elite and Majors)

  • BRAES BRANCH: Roan Ogilvie (age 15, recently passed Grade 4, also studies jazz, tap, and Majors)

Please take the time to view a small gallery of the award winners on our CSBS Facebook page… there were a lot of absentees over the week, so more photos will be added in the New Year!
