Starshine Lyricism success

Some of the dancers from our Starshine Elite dance team travelled to Dalry to compete in the World Lyrical Dance Federation “Lyricism” competition, a World qualifier. They danced brilliantly in solos and a small group and gained great scores and placings!

• Eva - 7th place under 12 level 1 lyrical

• Murray - 9th place under 14 level 1 lyrical

• Freya - 6th place under 14 level 1 lyrical

• Rachel - 2nd place under 14 level 1 lyrical

• Georgia - 1st place under 14 level 1 lyrical

• Chloe - 2nd place under 16 level 1 lyrical

• Megan - 3rd place under 18 level 1 lyrical

• Emmy - 3rd place under 18 level 2 lyrical

• Hannah - 1st place under 18 level 2 lyrical

• Iana - 1st place under 18 elite lyrical

• Small group - 2nd Place Over 14 level 2 - Rise like a Phoenix

We also have a very special well done to the 3 dance dads who took part in the parents improvisation section… They were brilliant and have obviously been watching a lot of lyrical dance at competitions! We were especially delighted to see Dan (Georgia’s dad) reaching the final round and being named “Adult improv Champion”! Fabulous!
