Awards for Excellence presented

The Junior and Senior 'Vicki Paterson Award for Excellence' shields are annual awards for the highest exam marks.

Our 2012 winners were Kristina Lowe (17) and Anya Phillips (7).

Kristina gained a mark of 93% for her RAD Grade 8 Award in ballet while Anya gained two top marks of 93% for her RAD Primary ballet exam and 88% for her ISTD Grade 1 tap exam.

A special presentation...

We were delighted to welcome back professional dancer and former CSBS student Vicki Paterson to present the Awards in their inaugural year. The Award is named in her honour as she repeatedly gained over 90% for her dance exams and was awarded a perfect 100% for her RAD Grade 4 ballet exam making her an ideal model for exam candidates. Vicki congratulated the girls and encouraged them to keep working hard in their dance classes (and had a quick catch up with Mrs Clark too!).

The shields will now be presented annually during our end-of-year parents days.
