We had lots of fun and hard work in our 2020 CSBS summer dance programme online with a range of workshops for all ages and abilities

During the lockdown period from April-June, Central Scotland Ballet School hosted almost 400 online dance lessons and events with over 300 dancers of all ages participating in lessons!

We were delighted to welcome back former CSBS students who are now professional dancers to lead masterclass style workshops with our students online during lock down.

Congratulations to the CSBS dancers who will be moving into full-time dance and musical theatre training in Scotland.

CSBS Senior dancer Robyn Whyte was awarded a scholarship to Urdang Academy in London to train in dance and musical theatre!

Professional dancer Vivian Gayle lead jazz dance workshops at our CSBS Studio for all ages and taught some Michael Jackson inspired choreography.

CSBS have introduced "Super Sunday" workshops to give students additional opportunities to enhance their regular dance training.

Central Scotland Ballet School presented awards for outstanding achievement in exams over 2019. Shields were presented for highest marks, performance, and most promising acro dancer.

One hundred and forty-six candidates from CSBS passed their graded dance exams in ballet, tap and acrobatics with 56% gaining top marks in the Winter 2019 session!

Parents were invited to watch their child's dance class at the end of the year and teachers presented awards for attendance and progress... Nearly 500 prizes were distributed!

Students from Central Scotland Ballet School performed a unique version of "The Nutcracker" as part of the 2019 Falkirk Festive Light Switch on to an audience of over 13,000!
