CSBS class update during Covid-19 crisis

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected our dance classes. Find out more here...

Our classes were closed from Monday 16-Sunday 22 March due to our planned Spring Exam Week. During this week, we also had a performance planned as part of Go Dance 20, a competition for our Elite team, and dancers competing in the Terpsichore of the North International Ballet Competition. All these events, including the examinations, have been cancelled by the organisers.

We had hoped to be able to resume regular classes on Monday 23 March but will now be unable to do so. Over the next 2 weeks prior to the Easter break, we plan to provide a wide range of dance classes using online platforms which will be accesible from your home using any PC, smart TV, or mobile device. We hope that these classes will provide exercise, help to rehearse class work, and improve mental well being during what is an uncertain and worrying time for everyone.

Please listen to our full statement made on the evening of 18 March on our CSBS Facebook page:

You will be able to access lessons through our website and through our social media platforms. More information will be available here from Monday 23 March. We hope that dancing regularly will help retain some normality, fun and routine in your family lives, and we hope that you all stay safe and healthy.

With best wishes to you all from the Clark family.
