Falkirk Festival of Remembrance

We were honoured to be invited to perform at the Falkirk Festival of Remembrance by Provost Pat Reid.

The Provost had been impressed by our performance at the 'Big Bairns Burns Bash' in January and asked us to provide some entertainment as part of his annual Festival of Remembrance.

Unique dance pieces

Our dancers performed two routines; the first was a Scottish piece inspired by photos of children playing in Scottish streets in days gone by. The second piece, "Letters Home" was created especially for the event and was inspired by last letters from soldiers to their loved ones. It was very emotional and the dancers used copies of genuine letters in their performance. Both pieces were choreographed and arranged by CSBS teacher Amanda Clark.
