Genee Dance Challenge winner

Congratulations to Bryony Robertson for winning the RAD Genee Dance Challenge...

Bryony (13) competed in the Level 3 competition in Birmingham at the end of July. The section was open to students from across the UK studying the Royal Academy of Dance Intermediate Foundation or Intermediate ballet syllabus. All the students enjoyed a dance of classes at the Birmingham Royal Ballet studios before competing with a solo performance.

Bryony performed a ballet solo 'en pointe' which she had performed previously in our annual dance display. The solo was originally choreographed for her by Amanda Clark for the 2011 heats of the competition where Bryony had competed in Leeds.

As well as studying the RAD Vocational syllabus on our Majors Programme, Bryony is a Senior Associate with Scottish Ballet and attends additional workshops and courses across the UK.

Well done!
