Lights, Camera, Action for Queensferry dancers!
Our Queensferry branch staged the first of our main 2019 dance displays, "Lights, Camera, Action" in Macrobert Arts Centre.
One hundred and eighty dancers aged 7-18 showcased their skills in 33 different routines. We had two fantastic audiences who cheered and applauded the dancers. Performing as part of the show were our Majors ballet dancers who train at our Queensferry branch, they performed a musical theatre opening number, pointe work routines, and a short ballet adaptation of the classic tale "Peter Pan".
We had an amazing team of CSBS staff, class helpers, and volunteer chaperones bakcstage helping the children get ready and get onstage quickly. Thank you to all of them!
We would be delighted to get your feedback on the the display and love to hear what you enjoyed or any suggestions for improving our shows. Please take a few minutes to complete our short feedback survey.
Charity collections
Our charity bucket collections and programme donations over the Queensferry performances raised an impressive total of £416.61. We make donations to local and national good causes throughout the year so thank you for supporting our fundraising efforts.
