Majors students enjoy workshops

Our Majors and Elite dancers enjoyed an exciting Sunday of workshops with professional guest tutors.

Classical Ballet Workshops

On Sunday 6 March, we were delighted to welcome professional tutor Kelly McCole to teach classical ballet workshops with the students from our Majors programme and Elite dance teams. They were challenged in the lessons which inlcuded barre work, stretching, centre practise, pirouettes and allegro.

The Intermediate and Advanced levels students were assessed by a panel of teachers during their lesson and will receive a report on their progress.

Make up workshops

Professional make up artist Emily Simanavicius taught the students how to do make up for stage performance. It was a practical workshop where she gave demonstrations, talked about make up and techniques, and then supervised the students as they tried their own make up.
