'Strictly Musicals' dazzles the audience

Our 2012 dance displays, "Strictly Musicals", proved an outstanding success!

Around 800 young dancers from our 3 branches took to the Macrobert Arts Centre stage for 6 sparkling performances in front of a total audience of over 2500 family and friends!

We have many people to thank for the smooth running and success of the displays, especially the students, parents, former students,staff and family members who worked so hard in preparing for the display as well as organising the show backstage. everyone's help is very much appreciated. Many thanks to Greig Shankland for our lighting and pyrotechnics as well as the Macrobert technical crew, Nick, Andy and Kay, who worked on staging, sound and flying the backcloths.

Charity collection

Our chosen charity for our 2012 displays is the "Rachel Appolinari Memorial Fund" in memory of a beautiful little star. Thank you to the people who gave generously in support, we raised £1610 through our raffle and collection which the fund will donate to the Edinburgh Centre for Neuro-Oncology based at The Western General Hospital.

Usually, we have a comments book available at each studio after the displays for parents and students to give their opinion about the show, changing arrangements, costumes etc., however, our classes have finished for this term.
