That's Showbiz Semi Final success!

Our Starshine Elite teams brought home a haul of trophies from the That's Showbiz semi-finals in Blackpool!

The competition brought together winners from heats across the UKwhich had been held throughout the past year. We were delighted to have 6 routines reach the finals which were held in the glittering Winter Gardens, Blackpool.

This was to be the last time the current teams performed together before our new teams begin rehearsals... And they danced brilliantly! Here is a list of their prize-winning results:

• FIRST kids classic- Best thing I never had (Junior Elite)
• FIRST senior hip - Diva (Senior Elite)
• SECOND mixed open - Red red rose (All teams)
• THIRD kids classic- Flashlight (Youth Elite)
• THIRD kids hip - I call the shots (Junior Elite)

Two of their routines also won overall prizes for the best in the category:

• FIRST kids overall- Best thing I never had
• FOURTH place mixed overall - Red red rose

Qualifying for the finals

Many congratulations to the team and coach Claire on "Best Thing" and "Red Red Rose" qualifying for the Finals in March2017! They will be travelling to Liverpool Echo Arena and competing alongside some of the best dance groups from across the UK. We wish them lots of luck and can't wait to see the routines!
