Top marks for tap, modern and acrobatics!

The results are in for our recent tap, modern and acrobatics exams... And they are great!

Tap exams with the ISTD

We had a small session of tap exams with 17 students sitting Primary and Grades 1, 4 and 5. Overall, they gained 1 Pass, 6 Merits and 9 Distinctions (over 80%). Some of the marks were particularly outstanding:

• PRIMARY - Anya Phillips 87%
• GRADE 5 - Sophie Wallace 86% / Dayna Lipski and Nichole Cook 88% / Chloe Coyle 90%

Special congratulation to Rosie Walker (15) who gained her Advanced 1 Tap with a very high Merit pass (75%). She is the first student from our school to reach this level, with the exception of CSBS teacher Amanda Clark!

Fantastic results for Acrobatics...

Forty students sat medal tests and exams for acrobatics, from the little First Steps to the highest levels of Gold and Blue Riband. Overall they were awarded 1 Commended and the rest Highly Commended which is the top mark (equivalent to Distinction). 

Modern vocational grades

Some of our Senior students complement their ballet training with the technical ISTD Vocational Modern grades. Well done to Caitlin Frickleton (Merit), Chloe Coyle (Merit) and Andrew Coleman (Distinction) who all gained their Intermediate Foundation.
