Winter exam session results 2018

We had a smaller than usual session of exam in the Winter 2018 session, but the students all worked extremely hard!

RAD Ballet exam results

Of the 69 RAD exam candidates, 2 gained Pass, 34 gained a Merit, 24 gained Distinction, and 6 received their Class Award, (there were also 2 absentees). The Merit marks were generally high and most of the students sitting exams at the higher levels gained Distinction.

We have a special mention for the students who gained over 80% for their Distinctions:

• Grade 1: Sophie Cameron 86%; Elsa Murphy-Heeley 83%; Georgia Rosenfeld 83%; 
• Grade 4: Ailish Ogilvie 83%; Iana Phillips 83%; 
• Grade 4 Solo Performance Award: Ailey Meikle 86%
• Grade 5: Hollie Crooks 83%; Sarah Firth 87%; Robyn Whyte 86%; 
• Grade 5 Solo Performance Award: Sarah Firth 89%
• Grade 6: Zoe Young 80%

Congratulations to the 5 students who gained their first Vocational level exam, Intermediate Foundation, with 1 high Merit and 4 Distinctions; and to dancer Abby for gaining a high Merit for her Intermediate vocational exam.

ISTD Tap exams

We had 28 candidates sit their ISTD tap exams, with 24 sitting the first level, Primary grade. Overall our tap exam candidates gained 5 Pass, 15 Merit, and 8 Distinctions. We have special mention for those gaining over 80%...

• Primary Grade: Freya Jones 80%; Amelia McDonagh 80%; Charlie Fleming 86%; Alexandra Craib 88%; Marcus Millar 82%
• Grade 1: Sophie Cameron 82%; Georgia Rosenfeld 81%
• Grade 4: Sarah Firth 85%
