Exam session over...!

This session, we had 4 full days of dance exams, from the little pre-primary dancers to Grade 8!

Twenty younger students sat their Primary and Grade 1 ISTD tap exam, and Kristina Lowe and Jemma Sneddon entered for the challenging Intermediate Foundation Modern exam.

We also had 3 full days of RAD ballet exams with 98 candidates!

Little stars

Many of our younger students sat their first ballet and tap exams... and thoroughly enjoyed themselves! For their first exams, their class teacher is in the exam with them and they danced beautifully.

Higher Grades and Grade 8 Award

Anna Fulton (16) sat her RAD Grade 8 Award, the final exam in the RAD graded syllabus. She performed a series of solos and finished looking rather pink and sweaty but smiling! Four candidates entered for Grade 7, Paige Lipski (16), Jemma Sneddon (16), Rosie Walker (15) and Sophie Wilkinson, and both Annie Gaffney and Natsha Waston sat Grade 6.

The target date for us to receive the results is 6 January... So keep your fingers crossed just a ittle bit longer! Many thanks to the parents of the exam candidates for the support and encouragement they gave the children, and for the many car journeys to and from extra dance classes!

Vocational ballet exams...

The RAD Vocational graded ballet exam session is in a few weeks. Three of our Majors students will travel to Cupar to sit their Intermediate Foundation ballet exam and we wish them all the best of luck.
