Excellent exam results!

We are delighted by the success of our students in recent dance exams...

We had 29 students sit ISTD tap exams and 85 enter for RAD ballet exams, including 6 students sitting a Vocational exam. The results have now arrived and are excellent!

Tap exams

From Primary to Grade 6 and Intermediate, the tap exam candidates were awarded 9 Distinctions and 20 Merits. Five of the 7 Primary candidates gained Distinction for their first graded tap exam and Kristina Lowe gained Distinction for Intermediate Tap, the first Vocational level. Some of the results were outstanding:

• Primary: Anna Bremner 82%, Aimee Arndt 83%, Iana Phillips 83%, Ailey Meikle 87%, Lucy Richards 82%
• Grade 1: Anya Phillips 88%, Romy Phillips 80%, Lauren Kinnaird 83%,
• Intermediate: Kristina Lowe 80%

Ballet exam results

Well done to the 19 children who gained their Pre-Primary in Dance Class Award, the first grade in the RAD syllabus, and to the 4 girls who gained their Primary Class Award. We also had 26 students pass their first exam, Primary Grade, with them all gaining Merit or Distinction which means they will receive silver and gold medals. Overall, the graded ballet students gained 30 Distinctions and 24 Merits.

A special congratulations to Brooke Lipski and Caitlin Frickleton for gaining their Grade 8 Award with Distinction and Merit respectively.

RAD Vocational Graded Exams

These exams are more challenging than the regular graded exams and we are delighted that all the students gained Merit or Distinction for their examination. these students were the first we have ever had sitting an exam in the newly revised syllabus.
