Acrobatics Spring Awards

The BATD acrobatics exams do not have a points marking system, so during each session, the examiner selects the candidates which they feel demonstrated the most potential in their examinations.

In the recent Spring session, the examiner was very impressed by the overall standard from our 100 candidates and selected both a Junior and Senior award winner, as well as giving commendations in each level.

JUNIOR SHIELD FOR MOST PROMISING ACRO DANCER

The Junior Shield was presented to First Steps candidate Chloe Watson (6). Chloe gained Highly commended for her exam and also passed her Pre-Primary Ballet Class Test and 2 Rosette Awards in the Spring session!

Certificates of Commendation were presented to Emma Clarke (10) for her performance at Bronze level; Isla Tait (6) for her performance in the First Steps exam; and Sienna Lowe (8) for her performance at Pre-Bronze level.

SENIOR SHIELD FOR MOST PROMISING ACRO DANCER

The Senior Shield was presented to Ava Green (14) for her excellent performance in the British Medallion exam. As well as gaining Highly Commended for her acrobatics exam, she gained ‘High Distinction’ for both her Grade 5 Ballet exam and Grade 5 Solo Performance Award this session!

Certificates of Commendation were presented to Amy Yates (11) for her performance at Silver level; Charlie Fleming (12) for his performance at Gold level; and Jill Russell (15) for her performance at British Award level.

Many congratulations to them all for their excellent performances!
