Queensferry dancers shine onstage!
Huge congratulations to the dancers from our South Queensferry branch for their wonderful performances in our 2024 dance display, “Enchanted”, at the Macrobert Arts Centre (Stirling).
QUEENSFERRY JUNIOR SHOW
Almost 90 little dancers aged 3-8 years old rehearsed and performed alongside our Majors students on the professional stage. They showcased their skills in ballet, tap, jazz and musical theatre routines for a fantastic audience of over 300 family and friends with the Majors dancers and Junior Elite team dazzling the audience in jazz and ballet routines.
The audience also enjoyed lyrical and acro solos performed by Heidi and Charlie respectively. Both dancers had choreographed their own routines, with Charlie also being our Millennium Trophy winner 2024.
Teacher Amanda took photos during the dress rehearsal, and you can view the Queensferry Junior album on our CSBS Facebook page.
QUEENSFERRY SENIOR SHOW
Another 70 dancers aged 9-16 from our South Queensferry classes performed ballet, jazz, tap, acro and musical theatre routines in another spectacular show! Our 50 Majors students also performed as did medal-winning soloists Jill and Charlie, our Premiere Acro class, and our Senior Elite team.
The audience were brilliant again and the show was a glittering success! Many thanks to the team of volunteer chaperones who kept both shows running smoothly backstage.
We were delighted to share the news that Queensferry dancer and class assistant Millie is moving onto full-time dance training after 14 years with CSBS. We look forward to following her further training and career!
