CSBS dancers sparkle onstage!
Over 500 dancers took to the stage in our 2022 dance display "Everybody Dance Now!"... and the shows were a sparkling success!
Choreography Competition 2022
We were delighted to stage our 2022 Choreography Competition as part of the Tryst Festival in association with Falkirk Arts Network. Congratulations to all the performers!
Acrobatics awards presented
Awards were presented for the "Most Promising Acro Dancers" as chosen by the examiner in the CSBS Spring exam session 2022. Overall winners were Charlie Fleming and Ailey Meikle.
Results from our Spring Exam session
410 dance exam candidates from CSBS gained excellent results in ballet, tap, and acrobatics exams in the Spring session!
Starshine Elite back onstage...
Our Starshine Elite dance team enjoyed a full day of dancing at the Can You Dance? Convention in Glasgow with a chance to perform and compete onstage!

Winter Exam Session Results 2021
Many congratulations to all of our exam candidates in the Winter Session 2021. We are delighted with the strong results across ballet and tap, particularly with our first set of IDTA exams.
End of Year Awards 2021
Over the last week of our dance year, we were delighted to present almost 150 awards for progress in our dance classes. Many classes also filmed work to send to parents.

Exam intensive results
Eleven candidates were entered in a remote session after an 'exam intensive' week. Overall they gained 9 distinctions and 2 high merits!
Starshine leaps back into competitions!
Our CSBS Starshine Elite dance team were delighted to be back on stage for their first live event in almost 2 years... and win third for their performance!

Summer remote exam results
We had 260 exam candidates in our remote summer session... 40% of graded ballet exam candidates and all our tap candidates, gained Distinction
Workshop Week fun!
We held a week-long Workshop Week with 16 events and 400 participants of all ages.
Exceptional exam effort
We are delighted with the results from our rescheduled Spring exam session. Under difficult circumstances, 36% of graded candidates gained Distinction!
A unique Term 1
Our Term 1 2020 has been quite unique with 610 lessons online as well as Studios reopening for in-person dance classes in Linlithgow, Grangemouth and South Queensferry.
Rescheduled ballet exams
We had 87 dancers sit a filmed RAD ballet exam after their exam was postponed from March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
