CSBS Supplies rewards 4000th order!

Our online shop has rewarded the customer who placed the 4000th order!

CSBS Supplies online was launched in August 2011 to supply dancewear to our students. All the models for the products are CSBS students and it has been wonderful to see the shop grow over the past 4 years. You can see a short video from our initial photoshoot on our CSBS YouTube channel.

As a reward for placing the 4000th online order in the shop, little star Ruby (pictured right) from our Braes branch received her new acrobatics leotard for free and was very excited to show it off in class!

Saving time...

Over the past 4 years we have sold 716 ballet dresses, 674 pairs of socks, 846 pairs of ballet shoes, 477 pairs of tap shoes, 1021 CSBS t-shirts, and 1307 leotards online, as well as a huge range of dance shoes, shorts, trousers, hoodies, bags, skirts and other accessories. We have also accepted hundreds of orders in class or by email.

The shop was created online to save valuable class time which was being lost while teachers dealt with often lengthy queues of parents wanting to order their dancewear. We estimate that each face-to-face order and subsequent delivery and payment in class time took an average of 2 minutes which means that we have saved around 135 hours of time (the equivalent of around 45 dance classes each year!) which has been spent teaching rather than dealing with enquiries.

Many parents comment about how convenient it is to be able to shop at any time and have the items delivered in class time, as well as being able to easily see all the uniform options.

Award winning

Our online shop has been a highly commended part of our presentations at Business Awards which we have subesquently won for our online work. We won the Falkirk Herald Business Award for Ecommerce in 2011 (and previously in 2010) and were runners up in 2013. We also won the Forth Valley Chamber of Commerce Business Award for Ecommerce in 2014.

We would like to thank Escrivo Internet Consulting for buidling the shop for us and integrating it with our website. It is managed on a daily basis by CSBS teacher Amanda Clark with Mrs Clark also dealing with processing orders.
